Solid oatmeal choice for babies!

"Even though this flavor is probably my baby's least favorite of the 3 oatmeal selections he still eats all or almost all of the pouch every time. I think it tastes good too. Not too runny or too thick. I like giving him oatmeal in the mornings to start the day."

Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

What is HPP (high-pressure processing)?

We use a technology called HPP (high-pressure processing), which uses pressure (5.52x the deepest part of the ocean!) instead of heat to kill pathogenic and spoilage bacteria, while retaining the nutrients, taste, and texture of farm-fresh ingredients. Here’s a blog with more information on HPP.

What ages are the pouches for?

We have various product lines, including those suitable for babies (6+ months), toddlers (1–3 years), and kids (4+ years). We provide recommendations based on complexity of ingredients, flavors, and textures; however, it is ultimately up to you and your pediatrician to determine what is the best food to feed your child and when. For a full list of recommended ages, please reference our products by age blog.

Do they contain added sugar or preservatives?

Our pouches have no added sugar‡, and no artificial preservatives, dyes, or flavors.

‡Not a low-calorie food.

Are your pouches perishable?

Yes! Our pouches are perishable and must be kept refrigerated.

Do you use any allergens in your products?

Please read the ingredient statement carefully on the back of every product if you have any allergen concerns. The facility we use processes tree nuts, eggs, dairy, and soy. Care is taken to thoroughly clean all equipment between each product to prevent the carryover of ingredients. If you have specific questions or concerns about your product, please reach out to our Care Team at care@uponafarm.com.

Can the pouches be frozen?

Yes, our pouches can be frozen. After removing from the freezer, place the pouch in the refrigerator to thaw thoroughly. When ready, shake or massage the pouch and consume within 24 hours of thawing. Please do not refreeze a previously frozen pouch.

Can I take pouches on the go? How can I travel with them?

Yes! They’re easy to take on the go and can be left out of the fridge for up to 4 hours (be sure they are still cool to the touch). For longer trips or warm days, the pouches can be carried with an ice pack or placed inside one of our Pouch Coolers to keep them cooler for longer.

To take pouches on a plane, inform the TSA officer ahead of screening that you are traveling with baby or toddler food, and remove the items to be screened separately. Ice packs, freezer packs, and gel packs (including our Pouch Coolers) are allowed to keep pouches cold.

How long can I store a pouch after opening?

If your little one decides they only want some of the blend, you can re-refrigerate the rest for up to 72 hours.

How can I warm up a pouch for my infant?

Our blends can be enjoyed right from the fridge or warmed up if your baby prefers. To warm a blend, place the pouch or bowl in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. If your little one doesn’t want the whole serving, simply spoon the desired amount into a bowl and place that bowl into another bowl of warm water for a few minutes.

Never microwave a pouch. Always test the food to make sure it is temperature-appropriate before feeding it to your baby.

Where can I buy your pouches?

Our website has the largest assortment of pouches, with subscription options and loyalty rewards. We’re also available at most major retailers nationwide. You can use our store locator to find a store near you. It’ll even show you what products and flavors each store carries.

In most stores, you’ll find our pouches in the fridge with the kids’ yogurt. In select stores—like Target and Walmart—we’ll be in the refrigerated produce section (near the cut fruit or refrigerated bars). And in a growing number of stores, our baby and toddler pouches can be found in a dedicated cooler in the baby food aisle. Here’s where to find us in store.
